Crowns

Quality Care

Crowns are full coverage restorations that cover a tooth which is likely to break, or is too broken down to be restored with a filling. Crowns are most commonly done when a large filling wears out or after root canal treatment. The larger decay that has to be treated, the more likely a crown will be needed. It is important to note that jaw muscles are the strongest in the human body. Teeth are subjected to tremendous pressures. Crowns sit over the weakened tooth, providing strength and protection against breakage. Crowns prevent this, as well as making for a nice smile.

At Dr. Kusz Dental Center, we make it our top priority to offer the best restorative treatment to restore your tooth quickly and pain free. We strive to use local labs and the highest quality materials and adhesives. You can rest assured that at Dr. Kusz Dental Center your crown will last. Get in touch with us today to book an appointment.

Bridges

Quality Restoration

A bridge is an option for filling the space created by a missing tooth. Dental bridges are formed to fill the space of the missing tooth. The sides of a bridge use the two surrounding teeth for support, hence the name. The bridge replaces the missing tooth, both functionally and cosmetically. Bridge work is as much an art as it is an exact science. The materials used may be gold alloys, porcelain bonded to metal alloy, or all ceramic material. The choice of material depends on requirements for strength, wear, and/or esthetics.

It is important that a missing tooth be replaced as soon as possible for several reasons. If not treated the teeth surrounding the gap begin to shift inward, subsequently creating other issues. Teeth use surrounding teeth for support and stability, with one missing, they start to "fall". As this progresses the bite changes in response to the pressure. Eventually this results in problems with the entire jaw, e.g. TMJ. The surrounding teeth deteriorate it is a matter of time before they, too, are lost.

As with Crowns, we make it our top priority to offer the best restorative treatment to restore your tooth quickly and pain free for Bridges. We strive to use local labs and the highest quality materials and adhesives. You can rest assured that at Dr. Kusz Dental Center your bridge will last.

Composite Fillings

Dental Surgery

A Happier, Healthier You

Fillings are completed to remove decay, and replace the affected tooth structure. It is called a filling because new composite material fills the missing tooth structure that decay left. Modern-day fillings are bonded tooth colored composite resin. Caught early enough, cavities can be treated easily and painlessly. If not treated decay can lead to tooth pain and/or infection, making root canal treatment or extraction necessary.

At Dr. Kusz Dental Center we strive to use the highest quality restorative materials to restore teeth pain free to a natural look. You can rest assured our Composite restorations will last for years to come.
